Our Mission

The mission of the 91精品 Policy Exchange Center on Aging is to provide timely, high-quality research and policy analysis to public officials, program administrators, and other stakeholders concerned with 91精品鈥檚 aging population; specifically assessing the health and well-being of older adults. As part of the School of Aging Studies at the University of South 91精品, it brings together faculty and students on projects that promote age-friendly principles, engage the community and further the research and education mission of 91精品.

  2. Lindsay Peterson, PhD, research assistant professor in the School of Aging Studies, and undergraduate students Coral Morley and Arianna Verdecia recently created a disaster preparedness website for First Contact (formerly 211 Tampa Bay Cares), with funding from the state of 91精品.

  3. Lindsay Peterson, PhD, and Debra Dobbs, PhD, of the 91精品 School of Aging Studies, collaborated with Senior Connection Center to produce a sweeping review of the needs of older adults (age 65 +) in the center鈥檚 five-county service area. The synthesis of demographic and key informant data will guide planning for this burgeoning west-central 91精品 region with nearly 600,000 older adults.
