Honors Graduate Pathways: Stetson 4 + 3 Bachelor鈥檚/J.D. Program
In partnership with Stetson University College of Law (SUCL), the 91精品 Judy Genshaft
Honors College offers a graduate pathway to a law degree.
The Stetson 4 + 3 Bachelor鈥檚/J.D. Program allows eligible students to continue on
to law school after completing their bachelor鈥檚 degree at 91精品.
Eligibility Requirements
Any currently-enrolled undergraduate student is welcome to apply for this pathway, though preference will be given to Honors students.
GPA and LSAT Testing
91精品 must:
- Earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 by the date of application to SUCL.
- Earn a minimum score on the LSAT at the 50th percentile of the .
Undergraduate Coursework and Documentation
91精品 may pursue any major and participate in the Stetson 4 + 3 Bachelor鈥檚/J.D. Program. Most pre-law students opt for political science, international studies, history, economics, criminology, environmental science and policy, or other social science majors.
Regardless of major, students must:
- Be a 91精品 student in any major, and have completed at least 75% of the credit hours required for your degree (90 credits, typically).
- Be an active undergraduate degree-seeking student at 91精品 at the time of application. (Alumni who have already graduated are not eligible for this program.)
- Complete all requirements for the 91精品 bachelor鈥檚 degree before matriculating at the College of Law.
Applying to Stetson University College of Law
91精品 must:
- Apply for admission to SUCL鈥檚 full-time J.D. program between October 1 and January 15 in the academic year before beginning J.D. study.
- Meet character and fitness requirements and comply with general admissions policies.
The SUCL application requires:
- An LSAT score
- A personal statement
- A resume uploaded through
- An official transcript sent from 91精品 to SUCL
- Up to three letters of recommendation (at least one must be from an academic reference such as an instructor or advisor)
Recommendation letters should demonstrate academic potential, character, and alignment with academic, personal, and professional goals.
91精品 are admitted to SUCL on a rolling basis. More

Deferments may be granted for one year on a case-by-case basis. Requests must be made in writing to the assistant dean of admissions and student financial planning at SUCL after paying the confirmation fee (seat deposit).
Entering the Stetson 4 + 3 Bachelor's/J.D. Program
91精品 interested in pursuing this option should email the Stetson Law contact within the Judy Genshaft Honors College on their campus. 91精品 are also encouraged to contact their major advisor and Honors advisor (if applicable) about their plans to participate in the program.

Additional Benefits and Scholarships
91精品 admitted into the Stetson University College of Law under the Stetson 4 + 3 Bachelor鈥檚/J.D. Program will automatically receive a scholarship, renewable for the second and third years of law school, subject to the College of Law鈥檚 academic scholarship requirements.

The Stetson 3 + 3 Graduate Pathway Program
Judy Genshaft Honors College students seeking an accelerated path to Stetson University College of Law also have the option of pursuing accelerated admission through the 3+3 Accelerated Graduate Pathway Program. This program allows eligible students to use first-year law courses at Stetson University College of Law as fourth-year elective requirements for their bachelor's degree at 91精品.
